How do I sync my Click4Time calendar with Thunderbird Lightning?

To access the Sync settings, from the Company Dashboard, go to the Settings / Service Providers tab and select "Sync Setup". Note: you must have a Service Provider profile setup and active in Settings / Service Providers in order for the "Sync Setup" link to appear.

Select "Yes" to “Sync to Thunderbird Calendar”.


  • Open Lightning and go to File / New / Calendar in the menu bar.
  • Create a new calendar “On the Network” and select “Continue”.

  • Choose “CalDAV” as the Format.
  • Copy and paste the Location address below, replacing “email@address.com” with your Click4Time login email address. select “Continue”.
  • https://book.click4time.com/caldav/calendars/email@address.com/client-appointments

  • Name the calendar and choose the color you want the appointments to appear in. Select “Done”.

  • You will be prompted for your Click4Time login email address and password.
  • Once authenticated, your new calendar will be added to your list of calendars.
  • To delete the calendar, right click on the calendar from the list on the left side of the screen and choose “Delete Calendar”.

  • To display the list of calendars go to View / Calendar / Calendar List in the menu bar.

Note: This is a one way sync, only Click4Time appointments are added to your personal calendar.  Appointments added or changed in your personal calendar will not be updated in your Click4Time calendar. With the nature of online booking it is necessary for the availability of the calendar to be accurate up to the second.  With a 2 way sync, we have no control when an event created in an external calendar will be synched to Click4Time, opening the possibility of scheduling conflicts.
