Why am I receiving mail delivery failure notices to my AOL account?

The issue is how AOL interprets who the email is coming from and therefore applies a block.  Our system is configured to send all emails (confirmations, cancellations, reminders) with the email address as entered in Settings / Configuration / Basic / Business Information (your AOL email address).  AOL may consider the circular reference of sending email from yourself, through our server, back to yourself, as suspicious and prevent the email from being delivered. Options to correct the issue:

1. Try adding your personal AOL email address to your AOL whitelist (AOL Address Book) Select the Contacts link (or open your AOL Address Book).

  • Select the +New button.
  • In the New Contact window, enter youraddress@aol.com into the "Primary E-Mail" field.
  • Select “Create”.

2.  Use a non AOL email address as the Service Provider email in Settings / Service Providers / Schedules.

The first option would be ideal and the first to try.
