FAQ
My client has opted out of receiving email notifications, how do they opt back in?

Clients can be opted out of receiving emails from Click4Time in 2 ways.

  • Unsubscribing (opting out) from the Unsubscribe link in the footer of any notification email.
  • Marking an email as Spam/Junk

Unsubscribed

If the client has opted out from the Unsubscribe link in an email, you will see a warning under the client’s name in the appointment details “Client Opted Out of Emails” and in the client's profile.

The opt out form is accessed from a link in the footer of any appointment notification email. This link is required to be in every email by law.

In order for the client to opt in again, they should log in to their Click4Time account (https://book.click4time.com/myaccount) and go to the “Personal Information” section to opt back in or they can email us at support@click4time.com to request to be opted back in.

Marked email as spam/junk

Whether an email was intentionally marked as spam or automatically filtered as spam/junk by the client’s email provider, the client will need to log in to their email provider directly, meaning if it’s a Yahoo email, they should log in to their Yahoo Mail account directly (https://mail.yahoo.com/) and check their spam/junk folder for the missing emails and mark any as Not Spam. They will also need to email us at support@click4time.com to request to have emails unblocked.

If viewing emails through a 3rd party mail program such as Outlook, Thunderbird, Apple Mail etc, these applications simply fetch email from the email provider (Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail or company email account) to combine them for viewing in a single place. It is possible that if the email was considered spam, it may never be downloaded to the 3rd party mail app.

If an email was considered spam, we recommend adding the booking system sender email "notifications@mailer.click4time.com" to their trusted email list (Contacts) to reduce the risk of future emails being considered spam. NOTE: When a client opts out or marks notification email as spam, Click4Time is no longer allowed to send emails to that email address due to spam regulations. We are more than happy to work with you to address any deliverability concerns so please do not hesitate to contact us at support@click4time.com.
